Regulator Valves

Regulator Valves are used in various industries alike. They are mainly used to regulate the pressure or control the flow of the fluid or the liquid for the particular purpose. The regulator valve may be used for varying purposes and this is solely dependent on the particular application or the process for which these valves are utilized.

There are various types of regulator valves such as:

  • Gas Regulator Valves: Perhaps these are the most common valves that can be seen being used in kitchens and mainly for domestic purposes or for the hotel industry. These are principally used for controlling the supply of the gas that is required for the cooking purposes. The body materials of these valves are mainly aluminum or alloy mixed.
  • Diving Regulator: This is a pressure regulator that is used in scuba diving. This is principally needed or applied for supplying the diver with adequate amount of gas form the various cylinders (specifically designed for this purpose) and this gas is required for the breathing of the diver. These are very important as the safety of the diver rests with the quality of such diving equipment, not to mention, the utmost importance of these diving regulator valves.
  • Constant Flow Regulator Valve: This is an excellent type of valve which is mainly used for the purpose of controlling the flow inside a closed chamber or a space. The consistency in the flow arte or the desired level of flow rate can be achieved without keeping a check on the pressure. The flow arte can be easily kept in control with the handle of such a kind of valve. The torque that is used for this purpose can be a low operating one and this makes the entire process so much economical than the other modes of operation.

There are other types of regulator valves too that are used in piping and for plumbing and tubing purposes. These valves have found their importance gradually in the commercial line too, as they are mainly being considered as essential for scuba diving and all other forms of commercialized diving too .
